Browsing

This site is made of static pages: it uses no cookies, has no analytics or tracking tools and loads no fonts, scripts or content from other services. The only data we receive when you open a page is what the server records for security, as every server does: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. These logs serve only to protect the site from abuse and to diagnose faults (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); they are deleted on rotation and are not combined with other data.

When you write to us

The “Let’s get in touch” button and the email addresses on the pages open your own email app: the message leaves from your device, with your address, and reaches us only if you send it. We use your address and what you write to us solely to reply and to follow up on your request (pre-contractual steps at your request, Article 6(1)(b); legitimate interest in replying, Article 6(1)(f)). No newsletters, no marketing messages without your separate consent, no sharing with third parties. We keep messages for as long as needed to handle the request and, if a working relationship follows, for its duration and for the legal obligations that come with it.

Where the data is kept

The site and our email are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection. Infomaniak processes data on our behalf, as a processor. We do not transfer data outside the European Union and Switzerland.

Your rights

At any time you may ask us for access to the data concerning you, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR): just write to info@aegiscodex.it. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Other information

The site is not aimed at children under 14 and makes no automated decisions about people. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the processing we carry out does not require one. If this notice changes, the date at the top is updated.
